Although we rescue up to 500
cats and kittens per year, we know that we can make an even bigger difference by establishing our own facility.
We envision an environmentally friendly shelter that comfortably houses
cats that would otherwise be euthanized at the county's animal shelter. Of course, cats can stay as long as it takes to find
a permanent home.
In addition, we hope to start a spay and neuter clinic that will offer
very low cost or free sterilization services.
Our plan includes addressing the cat overpopulation problem from both
ends by taking in cats in need of homes and by sterilizing cats who would otherwise reproduce and add to the existing problem.
Throughout the year we will particiapte in many fundraisers and spevial
events. If you care about the wellfare of cats in Contra Costa county, please join us in our efforts to make this a no-kill
county.
